What is the Broadband Bill Generator?

Local internet service providers, cable operators and building Wi-Fi resellers bill hundreds of subscribers every month, often from a spreadsheet or a notebook. This generator turns one subscriber’s details into a clean monthly broadband bill: your business name and GSTIN at the top, the plan and billing period, the charges with GST, the previous balance and payments received, and the amount due in figures and in words.

Add your UPI ID and the bill prints a QR code for the exact amount due, so the subscriber can pay by scanning the paper or PDF. Everything is worked out and rendered in your browser; subscriber names, addresses and phone numbers are never uploaded.

How to use it

  1. Enter your business name, address, support phone and, if you are registered, your GSTIN.
  2. Fill in the subscriber’s name, account ID and installation address.
  3. Set the bill number, bill date, billing period and due date, and describe the plan.
  4. List the charges for the period (rental, add-ons, installation) before GST, and choose CGST + SGST or IGST.
  5. Enter the previous balance and payments received, add your UPI ID for a pay-by-QR code, then press Download PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Who is this broadband bill generator for?
For the business that provides the connection: a local ISP, a cable or LCO operator, a co-working space or a housing society reselling Wi-Fi. You fill in your own business details and bill your own subscribers. It is not a way to recreate a bill from another provider — for that, download the original from the provider’s app or website.
What GST rate applies to broadband?
Internet access and telecom services are taxed at 18% GST in India. If you and the subscriber are in the same state, that is split into 9% CGST and 9% SGST; if the subscriber is in another state, it is 18% IGST. If you are not registered for GST, choose “No GST” and leave the GSTIN blank.
How is the amount due worked out?
Current charges are the charges for the period plus GST. The amount due is the previous balance plus current charges, minus payments received since the last bill. A negative previous balance is treated as a credit, and if the result is below zero the bill shows a credit balance instead of an amount due.
How does the UPI QR code on the bill work?
It is a standard upi://pay link with your UPI ID, your business name, the amount due and the bill number as the note. Any UPI app (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM) can scan it from the printed bill or the PDF, and the amount is filled in for the subscriber. The code is drawn in your browser; nothing is sent to a payment provider.
Can I use this bill as proof of address or for reimbursement?
A bill is only as authoritative as the business that issues it. Bills you issue to your own subscribers are genuine records of your service. Creating a bill in the name of a provider you are not, or for a service that was not provided, to claim a reimbursement or prove an address, is fraud.
